Appointments

How to see a Doctor or Nurse

We will not tolerate any abuse, verbal or physical, directed towards our staff.

You can access eConsult Monday - Friday during surgery hours, or telephone 01570 422665 to book an appointment, ask advice, request test results, repeat fit notes etc.

Prescription requests should be posted, dropped off in our outside prescription boxes or submitted via My Health Online.

If you need anything posting, please send us a stamped addressed envelope with your request.

We operate a triage system for all appointment requests – urgent and non-urgent.  If you need to see or speak to a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner we ask that you phone between 8.30 am and 10.30 am on the day you are able to receive a telephone consultation or attend an appointment.  You will be asked by the Receptionist to give brief details of the problem and then a member of the Practice Team will call you back.

For urgent queries, we are open until 6.30pm.

You can also use eConsult Monday to Friday during surgery opening hours.

If you are asked to attend the surgery, do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment time.  This is to help maintain social distancing in our waiting areas.

Healthcare Assistant / Phlebotomist

Appointments with the Nurse, Healthcare Assistant or Phlebotomist can be made up to 3 weeks in advance by telephone or via My Health Online (My Health Online appointment booking is temporarily suspended due to Covid-19).

Afternoons pre-booked surgery - Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

Appointments can be booked up to five weeks in advance on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday afternoons by telephoning the surgery. Appointments are available between 2:00pm and 6:00pm.

Cancelling an Appointment

If you no longer need your appointment, or you cannot attend please contact the surgery as soon as possible. We can then rearrange another date for you and offer your cancelled appointment to another patient.  You can cancel by either telephoning 01570 422665 or using eConsult where you can send us a message.
